OVERVIEW

Variety: Muscat Blanc

Region: Samos

Vineyards: Small terraces, 500-700m altitude, manual cultivation

VINTAGE CONDITIONS

A normal year without extreme temperature differences after spring. The yield was below 5000 kg per hectare.

WINEMAKING PROCESS

Harvest has been done manually on the lasy cool mornings of September. Grapes are destemed and the juice is exctracted gently and transfered in a stainless steel vat to cool down for settling in order to clear. After the end of fermentation wine ages for 7 months with its fine lees in the barrels and bottled. Aging is continued in the bottle for one year.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: yellow golden with green highlights

Aroma: Intense but harmonic secontary aromas

Flavour: Complex oaky balanced crisp flavour, unique muscat roundness
