Variety: Muscat Blanc
Vineyards: Small terraces, 100-300m altitude, manual cultivation
A good year with normal rains but a lot of dryness after February. The yield kept in low levels and in excellent hygiene condition. The yield was below 5000 kg per hectare.
Harvest has been done manually the mornings of August . Grapes are picked and layed down on the sun to condense the sugars. After that grapes are pressed and the juice is exctracted gently and transfered in a stainless steel vat to ferment. Wine ages for minimum 3 years in the barrels and bottled.
Total Acidity 6 g/L
Colour: dark amber colour with golden tones
Aroma: Extremely aromatic , notes of spices and dried fruits
Flavour: Strong condensed flavour with well balanced between acidity oak and sugars
